As a Bavarian enthusiast and a stickler for authenticity, my stay at Der Gutschmecker was a mixed bag. the room was compact but cozy, offering basic amenities like a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Although the lack of a visible staff presence was disconcerting, the self-check-in system was convenient. the proximity to Schön Klinik was a plus for me. On the downside, the absence of room service and the questionable cleanliness, as evidenced by unwanted guests nibbling on breakfast goods, left me feeling uneasy. the hotel's saving grace was the charming garden terrace, offering a tranquil spot to unwind. Overall, Der Gutschmecker offers a budget-friendly option with a touch of Bavarian charm. While the value for money is evident, potential guests should weigh the cost against potential inconveniences for a truly authentic Bavarian experience.
